John H. Wallace was born and raised in Urbancrest Ohio. He accepted the Lord as his personnel savior June of 1985 under the Ministry of the Rev. C.R. Jones 2nd Baptist Church Delaware Ohio. He left 2nd Baptist in good standing.

John then joined the True Vine Apostolic Church in 1989 under the ministry of Pastor Jerry Saunders. While at True Vine he received The Baptism of the Holy Ghost on Sunday July 19th 1989. Called of the Lord to teach and preach while at True Vine.Was lead of the Lord to join Bibleway Church of our Lord Jesus Christ in April 1992. From April 1992 he sat under the daily teaching and ministry of Bishop Wm C. Latta until Feb 1999.While at Bibleway he attended Bibleway Bible Institute and was approved to teach at Bibleway in 1997. Ordained as an Elder in July of 1999 by Bibleway Worldwide Inc. Apostle Cambell presiding.

Being lead of the Lord started Setting Free Church of our Lord Jesus Christ on Feb 7 1999. Installed as Pastor of Setting Free by Bishop Wm C. Latta of Bibleway summer of 1999. Pastor Wallace  has a heart that is geared towards those who society has given up on. Setting Free reaches out to the Homeless, those in Homeless Shelters, and those who are Incarcerated. Thus his ministry has been to those in Shelters, Jails and Drug Rehab Treatment Centers.Pastor Wallace will pray and visit anyone that is in need of prayer.

Being delivered himself he knows the power of God and believes that the preaching of the cross is the power that can set anyone free!
